Steps needed to apply for your CDA 2.0 credential are as follows:

1. Successful completion of your approved 120 hour coursework ($299.00) **REQUIRED
2. Order CDA 2.0 Competency Standards Book from the CDA Council ($25.00+shipping), www.cdacouncil.org**REQUIRED

(Contains Resource File instructions, Assessment Observation Instrument instructions and Family Questionnaire forms)

3. Successful completion of your Resource File under the description in your CDA 2.0 Competency Standards Book**REQUIRED**IF YOU WANT PERSONAL HELP, CALL BONNIE FOR THE NAME OF A PERSON IN YOUR AREA WILLING TO ASSIST YOU FOR A SMALL FEE.
4. Family Questionnaire forms are to be passed out, completed, and returned to you, sealed**REQUIRED
5. Assessment Fee paid to the CDA Council to cover your exams. ($325.00 until Aug 31, 2013, then $425.00 after Sept 1, 2013) **REQUIRED (GEORGIANS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP TO COVER THIS FEE. PLEASE CLICK here)
6. Review – Observation – and Reflection, by your CDA Professional Development Specialist **REQUIRED
7. Multiple choice exam at a testing center at your convenience**REQUIRED
